Somatic therapies and EFT
In my approach, somatic therapy (body-based) is about helping you reconnect with your body as a vital source of information and healing. Emotions don’t just live in the mind, they’re often experienced physically as tension, restlessness, or disconnection. By tuning into these bodily sensations, we can gently uncover and release emotional stress that might otherwise stay trapped.
Alongside traditional talking therapy, I use a range of body-based techniques tailored to what feels right for you. This may include grounding exercises to help you feel more present, breathwork to calm your nervous system, movement to release held tension, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping to ease emotional blocks – of which I am an advanced practitioner. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore both your physical and emotional experience, building resilience and a deeper sense of balance from the inside out. These face-to-face or online sessions allow for hands-on guidance and real-time connection.
